Cisco sees Dell as important competitor
The decision of Cisco is from 27 September this year effective. Dell is extremely successful with the sale of computers direct via its site. Always more also Dell looks up other markets. Before this year joined Dell under own name a number network products closed with which it competes with with Cisco.
Cisco has of that enough. In its annual report at the American purse watchdog SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) names Cisco for the first time also Dell as a competitor, next to known names as Juniper Networks and Lucent.
