Getronics closes year with profit
Getronics has a heavy year behind the back among many through the strong competitive market, according to chairman of the board Guy Wagenaar at the presentation of the year figures.
Getronics shut 2004 off with a sales of 2,375 billion Euro. A year before was that yet 2.6 billion euro. Well the business wrote black figures with a small profit of 32 million Euros. In 2003, this was indeed 246 million Euros, but that especially was to be thanked at the sale at that time of the business part HR Solutions for 270 million.
The ebita-results ascended from a loss of 19 million Euros in 2003 till a profit of 68 million Euros in 2004.
According to Wagenaar remains 2005 a year in which the competitions still murderous will be. But he thinks being able to pick to have sufficient genvesteerd in sale and marketing that this year the fruits from.
